Revolt of the Bertians
The Revolt of the Bertians started in the country of Legis. It began with the Leogold Fletcher punished for thievery, but when he was being punished they judge refused to take into account that he was driven into this life after being fired from his soldier duties. Then he was forced to steal to keep his family afloat.
The commoners of Legis were completely against punishing Leogold. Even if his crimes were plainly obvious to see, his actions were good in nature. But the Judge refused to comply and let the man stay imprisoned for his crime.
Mobs began to surround the prison until riots eventually broke out causing the prison to release [[:Leogold Fletcher|Leogold]. This resulted in major military action causing over thirty casualties, sparking the first plans for revolt, [[:Leogold Fletcher|Leogold] at the head of the Bertian people.
